The First 24 Hours: Part 1

Well here I am, finally in Copenhagen. After missing my connection from Munich to Copenhagen and spending 5 extra hours in the airport, we finally arrived at our hotel, Hotel Sct. Thomas in downtown Copenhagen at 6PM last night.

The city is absolutely beautiful, and has that stereotypical European feel characterized by winding streets, very old buildings, and small cars. It's decorated Christmas, so at night, the place just glows. I assume it's pretty during the day too, but so I far, I have yet to see it, because the conference starts before the sun comes up and ends well after the sun goes down.

Exhausted, I went to sleep as soon as I thought I could without exacerbating the jet lag.

  1. Woot! Good to hear you made it safely. Are you going to meet up with Matt Zmudka while you're there? Between your blog posts and Matt's protest pictures, I feel like I'm there in Denmark.
